Expanding services in Malaysia through strategic collaboration and investment

NTT DATA Payment Services Sdn Bhd (“NTT DATA Payment Services”) and SECAI MARCHE Inc. (“SECAI MARCHE”) today announced a strategic business alliance to support the digital transformation of foodservice and hospitality businesses in Malaysia. In addition, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. and Synexia Ventures Pte. Ltd. have invested in SECAI MARCHE to support its business expansion and long-term growth.
Through this collaboration, SECAI MARCHE’s farm-to-table fresh food supply chain platform will be integrated with NTT DATA Payment Services’ solutions for corporate finance team including B2B payment processing, and automated reconciliation, enabling end-to-end digitalization from procurement through to invoicing, payment collection and cash flow management. The service is scheduled to launch in July 2026, targeting approximately 400 fresh foods suppliers and 2,400 hotel, restaurant and cafe (HORECA) businesses in Malaysia.
In addition, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. and Synexia Ventures Pte. Ltd.,the corporate venture capital (CVC) arms of the NTT Group, endorse the objectives of this initiative and made an investment in SECAI MARCHE. This investment aims to strengthen SECAI MARCHE’s business foundation and support its medium- to long-term growth.
Background
In Southeast Asia, many food suppliers are small-scale farmers, and processes across ordering, logistics, and payment collection remain fragmented. At the same time, HORECA businesses often rely on manual invoice processing and payment operations, resulting in increased operational burden and complex cash flow management.
SECAI MARCHE has been addressing these challenges through data-driven demand forecasting and logistics optimisation, while NTT DATA Payment Services has been providing solutions to streamline invoicing, payment collection, reconciliation and cash flow management under its global brand “ADAPTIS®,” enabling end-to-end receivables processes across the financial value chain. By combining their respective strengths, the two companies aim to deliver a more efficient and integrated ecosystem for HORECA businesses.

The integrated solution connects SECAI MARCHE’s fresh foods supply chain platform which offers demand forecasting, order management, warehouse management and delivery management with NTT DATA Payment Services’ corporate finance solution that centrally manages invoicing, payments and reconciliation automation and cash flow management.
